Abridged Pause Apparel was founded officially on May 24th of 2015 as the merchandising arm of Abridged Pause Enterprises. The idea came to me earlier that month after Jeremy Roux founded his own motorcycle clothing line, Flying Twin Apparel, in early May. He told me about Printful, a Californian company that printed on demand and which gave discounts to the companies when printing tests.
The first Abridged Pause Apparel logo was designed on May 31st of 2015.
Same day I ordered Brandied In Bed shirts. In fact, the motivation to design a company logo was due to Printful offering the opportunity to include a brand sticker on the outside of the packaging when mailing the shirts.
On January 7th of 2017 I designed a second version of the logo, motivated by the fact that Printful had changed the format of the sticker packaging. They required black and white then.
