Vision Éternel Jean-Venne River, Entrelacs Photo Shoot, April 10th 2017

impromptu photo shoot after seeing the fog come out

spent all day in bed with Rain watching Schits Creek season 3.

came down around 7:30 to take the dogs out and feed them, noticed a thick fog in the backyard and got the idea to go out and do a photoshoot.

was supposed to get my haircut that week but hadn’t gotten it. my hat hardly fit on my head because of all the hair.

had the dogs in the car with us, drove out to the covered bridge 2 mins away from home

wanted to use our phones instead of the camera. thought it would be better quality, but not at night. turned out too grainy

by the time we got there most of the fog had lifted. tried one set of pictures with me under the bridge, but wasnt good with the lighting. Rain then suggested doing one against the frozen river that still had some fog, they looked better but they also turned out too grainy.

On April 23rd I played around with the Google app Seedly on my phone and found some effects that increased the graininess, like an old movie. Gave me the idea to play around with that and use the grain to my advantage, make it look like an old worn 1920’s film, with the blue tint that they used to represent night shots.

Spent the night of April 24th/25th editing them.
