Vision Lunar – Lunar Sky

I had my mind set on doing something special with the Lunar schedule. The moon had been very important to me in my past creations, being part of the first Throne of Mortality lyrics I ever wrote, and now having its own project. In mid October I started working on a new Lunar song, and there and then decided I would release one new Lunar song on every day of the full moon, every month. The plan was to try to have it go for one whole year and then reconsider the idea. It only made it to seven months (out of a thirteen month stretch), but there was actually close to enough material written and demoed to make the whole thirteen months releases. This second Lunar song was the first true song to reflect the idea I wanted in the band. Dual guitars, in total black metal fashion, building up an atmosphere with a high part of perfect leads over an almost breakdown type of rhythm. I was really glad of the way it turned out at the time, and even now I still love that song. If only I had discovered reverb for that song, it could of been even greater!
