During the post-production phases of “Bonjour Tristesse” I had been thinking of making a music video for the promotion of this release. I initially wanted two version; one full length version and a short version. The full length version would be the full seventeen minutes song, and would only be shared with close friends, and the four minute condensed version would be for general public viewing. The reason a short version was to be created was because Marc Hoyland who was creating this video didn’t think the main public needed to hear the full song, for buying purposes. I told him I really wanted to use the John Frankenheimer film Seconds from 1966, so he did a first version using principally the opening credits.

The video was a great idea and it inspired me to create a full length version, which would also fix some of the technical difficulties Marc had, due to program limitations. I had just finished doing the Second Full-Length Album Preview, and planned to make something just as abstract. Instead of doing a complete full-length version, I removed the rain samples and the vocals in the middle, which reduced it by about four minutes. This new version was perfect for public viewing, and I created the music video. But when came time to export I had a lot of problems with the conversion and couldn’t get a high quality export for some reason. So the video was uploaded in a low quality, with hopes to go back to it later to fix it up.
