I really can’t find much to say about these two songs. Actually they’re not even songs, they’re ideas. And I think they are just as bad right now as I thought they were when I recorded them sometime in early 2011 (some date crawled up to April 4th 2011, but I have a feeling it was earlier). In 2011 I was still dating Laura Dolgy and she was working on some documentary for school. I was on ahuge roll of writing some of the best songs of my career, the most recent being “Fully Hollow”/”Sometimes in Absolute Togetherness”, which is in my opinion one of the top three songs I wrote. She sent me a video on Youtube of some electronic band and asked me to compose the music for this documentary. Probably in relation to the song she sent me, I went for bass first and recorded two ideas on the spot. I didn’t like them and came to the realization that I wouldn’t be able to compose anything that would fit her taste and backed out of the project. That’s the story.
