This was originally called the “Winter ’06” demo but I later changed it to “Winter ’05”.
This was the final of the seasonal TOM demos. For some reason there is only one TOM song on here with two covers. “You Will Fucking Die” actually appeared on every single TOM demos of 2005, and I think its only because it was the only true black metal song I had written, and had almost invisible death metal parts to it. It was one of the few that Howie had written and sang lyrics for, simply for the reason that it was so old school black metal. But this demo only features me on guitar.
this was probably done before I wrote the lyrics to La Lune Est Morte on January 20th 2006.
It was probably called “Winter ’06” in the first place because each year has 2 winters, from January-March and then again in December. In order to avoid confusion, because I didn’t want people to think it came out in January-March 2005, I named it “Winter ’06”.
