On February 5th 2011 I was struck with an epiphany to write about the hope of life. This was just quick notes in hope to develop it into a short story or lyrics. It was likely brought on by a temporary breakup or fight that I had with Laura Dolgy.

The whole point to this life is to search for happiness. Sometimes you find it… sometimes just for a moment. And for that little while you forget all the misery and pain you’ve been trough in the past and you forget that death even exists. But when that moment ends you find yourself feeling all the misery and pain that you had so quickly forgotten from this happiness. But you know inside that you can’t give up because you keep thinking that you don’t mind a little pain if it’s to gain that happy feeling again. Because it’s all worth it, even if it’s just for that one moment, even if it’s going to vanish eventually, even if you know it will end. Because for that one moment, life is worth living for.
