Prior to shooting the footage for Vision Éternel’s music video for “Love within Narcosis” (only days later), I experimented with my parent’s JVC GR-DVM90 camcorder. I had initially used it in The Slopin Fairy 7 photoshoot, then had dug it out again to film Silk Winter and then finally for another photoshoot. But it had been collecting dust and I figured that the visiting of Darklink (Phil Altobelli) would be a good way to get this thing going on. Additionally, I needed a picture of him for the Triskalyon website. It was a cold night on February 4th of 2007 and I must have shot a total of under two minutes. The rest of the Mini-DV tape has nothing else from this night. But the camcorder was already suffering old age issues and some of the footage would look green on camera and couldn’t be used at all. After filming this short bit, I took screen shots of Darklink and myself, but only used his for the Triskalyon website pictures.
